Attention Junior Jet Families: we need your help with the upcoming JJ Dance (Dec 6)
Middle school parents are invited to join the Jr. Jets Planning Committee to help organize events like field trips, dances, and the 8th-grade graduation. The first meeting is on Tuesday, November 12, at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom (check ParentSquare or PTSA email for details). Discussion topics include parent support for the upcoming school dance on Friday, December 6, and other events for the year. PTSA Sponsors 127 6th Graders for the Alameda Young Naturalist Club Field Trip
The Alameda Young Naturalist Club sits on a 1/2 mile stretch of former railroad land, recently repurposed for maker spaces, climate education, and community gardens. Their space is open for visitors to engage with ecology, experience the outdoors, and implement regenerative agricultural technology.
The theme of our 6th grade trip was Team Building in Nature. Students engaged in age-appropriate challenges, designed to help small groups work together, communicate, problem-solve and build trust in an encouraging and inclusive environment.
